In total five Clinical Research Fellows work in our facility covering both the solid tumour and haemato-oncology trial portfolios. Many of our team come from outside Oxford for one to two years in order to get experience and exposure to cutting edge clinical studies. Fellows get opportunities to work on a number of research projects under supervision of the Principal Investigator team and often present these findings in conferences, both locally and abroad.  Many of our fellows have gone on to pursue an MSc at the University of Oxford or PhD with us.

Fellows work closely with the research nurse, pharmacy, database manager and sample handling laboratory teams to deliver studies to a high standard. Day to day responsibilities involve recruiting and consenting eligible patients for trials.  In addition, fellows review patients currently on trials and manage complications in close liaison with Principal Investigators.
